July Wine of the Month

by Lauren on July 15, 2011

Summertime is all about grilling, being outside, and BBQ’s. At least in my opinion it is. And when you think of summer wine you normally think of white wine. But the wine I have picked for the July Wine of the Month is actually RED!

Rabbit Ridge Le Lapin Multiplicity Red NV

I brought a bottle of this wine to my family 4th of July party, and it was literally gone in seconds. The wine is from Paso Robles, California and is a blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Refosco!

Because I couldn’t have said it better myself here is how we describe it at the store:

“Multiplicity is a ripe, round, friendly wine that offers up ample aromas of red cherry and plum fruit with notes of cocoa butter, chocolate and spice. Then generous flavors of red and black fruits, graphite and a touch of menthol for complexity and lift. Nicely concentrated and softly ripe on the finish. The whole thing reminds you of cookouts at the beach somehow, so toss on some burgers and have a party!”

This wine is perfect for sipping, it’s great with burgers, at parties, at BBQ’s, or anything in between. It’s a great summer wine and retails for only $8.99/btl! How can you beat that?!?!
