This is the fourth recipe from my HealthCentral video shoot. I was messing around in the kitchen one day and come up with this concoction and thought it would be a great addition to your holiday recipe repertoire.
Again…this recipe requires very little ingredients and very little time. I think both you and your guests will love it. And trust me…you don’t need a holiday party to have these, you can make them any night of the week too! They are just that good.
Pumpkin and Cream Cheese Wontons
Makes 30 Wontons
Ingredients:
- 30 Nasoya Wonton Wrappers
- 1 C Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 1/2 C Fat Free or Low Fat Cream Cheese
- 1.5 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 Tbs Agave
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Tbs Olive Oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*. Combine the pumpkin, cream cheese, cinnamon, agave, and nutmeg in a bowl and mix together. You may want to taste the mixture to see if you need to add any spices or more agave. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a greased baking sheet, and fill each wrapper with 1 tsp of the pumpkin mixture. Line the outside edge of the wontons with water and fold the other side over to create a triangle. With a fork create a seal on the edge of the wonton for appearance purposes. (Optional). Brush each wonton with olive oil to create a golden color. Bake at 350* for 10 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.Copyright © 2011 Eat, Drink, and Be Hopeful All Rights Reserved
