What, you thought I was actually talking about a cupcake? Nope! Think again. This is Cupcake Vineyards Red Velvet, and with Valentine’s Day around the corner it is just perfect.
I first got caught on this wine just from the name. I love the other Cupcake wines, and I love Red Velvet anything so I gave it a try. One sip and I new I had found a soul mate. It’s smooth texture lured me in with deep rich blackberries, cherries, plums, and a sweet mocha finish. As the winery says this wine is reminiscent of a blackberry chocolate cupcake with a mocha coulis. I couldn’t agree more!
Now let me preface by saying this isn’t your wine aficionado’s wine, but this is for all those people who love sitting around, chatting with friends, sipping on something fun. This is wine was made for sweet and spicy Hoison steak, burgers, any kind of barbecue, and best yet…CHOCOLATE! Or even a dark chocolate fondue. YUM!
This is THE Valentine’s day wine, and I really wish someone was giving me a bottle. 
I kid I kid. But really…you must try it.
