Souper Dinner and Ever Soupier Giveaway!

by Lauren on February 1, 2010

You all love giveaways right? Well I have one for you! But you’ll have to wait till the end of the post to find out. HAHAHA!

After my lunch yesterday I told you I had a piece of dark chocolate right? Well I ended up eating a few pieces. OOPS!

For dinner I was in the mood for grilled cheese and soup. I made a grilled cheese panini on sourdough bread with 2% milk provolone, tomato, and Annie’s Organic honey mustard. Annie’s honey mustard is pretty much the best there is, and I’ve tried A LOT of honey mustard’s. My sandwich went into the Emeril panini press and VOILA! A little messy, but oh so good!

On the side I had some Progresso Hearty Penne and vegetable soup. Earlier this month I received a generous amount of soups that were sent to me from Progresso through MyBlogSpark to taste and review. I’ve always been a big fan of Progresso Soups because they are fairly low in calories and are very hearty and filling. I also like that they offer low sodium and low fat options as well.

Dinner was super delicious and perfect for a cold snowy night. Dessert was even better though! I made banana ice cream!!! I blended a frozen banana and a little tiny bit of organic half & half together in my Magic Bullet. I usually like to use some yogurt instead of half & half, but didn’t have any. The half & half made the ice cream really rich and creamy. YUM! I topped my ice cream with some cacao nibs and toasted almonds.

A complete dessert with some tea on the side.

If you are as big of a fan of Progresso Soups as I am, then I have a deal for you. Presenting the Souper You Giveaway.

The cheesy panini looks so scrumptious.. and the soup too. The veggie classic is my fave for a cold day. And I LOVE that they offer low sodium soups. :)
