You all know by now my love for pizza. I really do love pizza, maybe a little too much! But tonight I decided to try something new. I can’t wait to show you my creation.

But before I do let me show you lunch and snacks, although not that exciting.

Lunch was leftovers of BBQ Chicken, cabbage slaw, and white basmati rice mix.

(sorry for the blurry pic)

I love this cabbage slaw with a passion!

Later in the afternoon I had a Stonyfield Strawberry Oikos Yogurt and 1/2 of a Honeycrisp Apple. This is my first time enjoying a flavored Oikos, and I must say I am impressed. What impressed me even more was the protein content. 13g if Protein in this little cup. Gotta Love that!

I love this yogurt because it was seriously rich and creamy. The flavor was not artificial at all, and was very satisfying. Strawberry I think you just beat out Honey!

I went to the Supermarket to get some things for dinner after work and decided to pick up a hot tea from the Starbucks. I chose Organic Chai and really liked the spiciness of it. I think I’m a fan of spicy tea.

The tea must have not liked my somewhat empty stomach because I felt so nauseas by the time I got home, and that usually happens when I drink too much tea on an empty stomach. So I had a handful of unsalted peanuts to take the edge off.

Now on to the fun stuff. I am a huge fan of frozen pizza, and I know it is not that good for you, but it is so easy and tasty to me so it is my go to dinner sometimes. But tonight I decided to make a semi-homemade pizza. I bought a Boboli Whole Wheat pizza crust and made a Margarita pizza.

We had a leftover Barrata cheese that was about to go bad, and my colleague inspired me to use it on a pizza. I thought ‘what a great idea’ so I gave it a shot.

First I spread on some pizza sauce. This is really good pizza sauce from Trader Joe’s. It’s almost a little sweet which I usually like better than salty and tart.

Then I sliced the Barrata and covered the pizza and topped with fresh basil

Into the oven it went and 10 minutes later…OUU LA LA

I forgot that the cheese may be a lot runnier than normal mozzarella so I was a little worried when this came out of the oven. But even though it was messy to eat, it was so good! I loved how fresh it tasted, and all the flavors went so well together. Rally yummy!

Dessert tonight was some diet hot cocoa.

I also made sure to get in my leg lifts and push ups tonight since I didn’t do them this morning.

Night!

Wow, that looks incredibly good! I love the cheese reviews as I’m just getting more into cheeses.

Also love that you work in wine, but notice you usually do not have wine with dinner. Do you get to the point when working around it that it isn’t appealing? The reason I ask, is that I’ve really thought of getting into the wine biz, but thought that if it became “work” I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.

I’m glad you like the cheese reviews. I definitely recommend getting into the business-it can be so much fun. There have only been a few times when I didn’t FEEL like having wine, but usually I’m just doing it to watch my caloric intake. I often have a hard time stopping at 1 glass and drink 2 or 3. I am going to be working with Siema Imports and doing tons more wine tastings on the blogs, but I try not to have it every night because it makes me feel tired in the morning and I always have more than I should. ;-)
