NOT YET

So not only did I miss the Foodbuzz Festival this weekend, but I am missing the The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show in DC today. Chris’ step-dad Patrice is demonstrating at the show and we had tickets, but I have to work. I am really really bummed, and wish I could be there, but I told Chris to tell me all about it, and bring me home some samples!

Yesterday was such a wonderful relaxing day. I really needed it since work has been ridiculously busy lately. This morning I was planning on posting my amazing night at Citronelle, but when I got to work I realized that all my pictures were on my computer at home! SO BUMMED! You will just have to wait ONE MORE DAY!

So instead I will show you the awesome home-made pizza I made last night for dinner.

9.3.09-3 001

I took a whole wheat tortilla, pizza sauce, mushrooms, olives, and part skim mozzarella cheese. Baked in oven, and topped with a little shredded Pecorino.

Absolutely wonderful, and just enough.

I also tried this new Pumpkin beer, but again it was so heavy, and I couldn’t even finish it! I had a few sips and that was it.

After dinner Chris and I met up with my friend Kelly and her boyfriend Justin to see Paranormal Activity. SUCH a SCARY MOVIE! Before the movie we went to Starbucks and got Hot Cocoa and a chocolate chip cookie. Chris and I split the cookie.

Tonight we are having a staff dinner at Belga Cafe, and I will make sure to take lots of pics and share with you soon!

Ahhh my aunt and I were totally going to go to that show in DC but were way too exhausted from the weekend. And I can’t WAIT to hear about Citronelle. It’s definitely on my list of places to go. My brother and I were in Georgetown last night, and we actually stumbled upon it! I had no idea it was there.

Your dinner looks great! Can’t wait to read more :)
