It's Giveaway Time!

by Lauren on November 10, 2009

As I said in my morning post-I am hosting my VERY FIRST GIVEAWAY! I’m really excited, and you will have to wait till the end of the post to see what it is.

Breakfast this morning was very light. I just haven’t been very hungry in the mornings lately. I had a Stonyfield Low Fat Yogurt and a kiwi. I ate the kiwi with the skin for the second time in my life. I like the crunchiness and tangy-ness it adds, but I think I prefer kiwis with no skin.

Look what came yesterday??? We finally got the Little Ragghi’s Crackers for the store. I reviewed them in this post, and can’t say it enough; these cracker are maybe THE MOST AMAZING CRACKER YOU WILL EVER TASTE. They are the perfect crunchiness and flakiness, and are made with a little Parmesan and olive oil. They are so incredibly good, and the perfect wine cracker. I can’t wait to start selling them. A great gift with a bottle of wine especially for the holidays.

Because I had a smaller breakfast, by the time lunch rolled around I was HUNGRY! Lunch was a variation of yesterdays lunch. I made a turkey and cheese wrap on a whole wheat tortilla. Added some tomato, lettuce, and peach/pineapple salsa for some veggies.

All wrapped up

I also had some grilled okra on the side with leftover salsa. I grilled these last night while my other veggies were roasting. Really like these grilled better than raw.

Either banana bread made with yogurt instead of oil or just a big bowl of yogurt and granola! Yum!

Ohhhh I wish I could win :( Never mind!

I’m all caught up on your blog now, it sounds like you’ve been having a whirl wind time but it’s good to recognise when you need to get back on track.

I had a back on track day yesterday and today, but my birthday interupts that tomorrow and over the weekend.

I think it’s a good chance to think about how I’m going to get back on track next week starting Monday – it’s a fantastic concept!

I like yogurt plain typically, but if I had to pick a recipe it would probably be in a cucumber yogurt dip

Just found your blog, it’s great! I think my favorite thing to do with Oikos is the classic cereal/yogurt combo, or I also love it as a sour cream substitute with my Mexican food :-)

My favorite dish is tzatziki with Oikos yogurt! I got hooked on it in Greece! So delicious as a dip! I even had it on salmon last night.
