Happy Hump Day!!!

Happy Wednesday Everyone. It lookeds like it is going to be another cool, crisp, fall-like day. I am not entirely ready for fall, but this weather is really starting to put me in the mood! I started my morning a little different this morning. I woke up and did my daily morning routine:

  • 3 sets of 20 kneeling push-ups
  • 2 sets of 60 leg lifts/each leg

but today I decided to add 50 reverse crunches to the routine. I might make this permanent..you can really feel the burn. And supposedly it works the lower stomach so I’m all about this!

I thought about my work day and knew as soon as I got to work it was going to be crazy busy. I decided to eat breakfast at home and do a little blogging instead of my 30 Day Shred. HOWEVER…I will do it when I get home. Don’t think I’m trying to get out of this one…trust me, I want a shredded body!

I’m planning on baking some chicken for dinner, and the prep is pretty easy for this so I will do my 30 Day shred while the chicken bakes. I mean look:

I even have the mat set up and I’m ready to go. This will help me make myself do it when I get back. Kind of like putting your running clothes next to your bed in the morning.

I couldn’t stop thinking about the awesome breakfast I had the other day so I decided to have it again. This time I only used 1 tbls of almond butter instead of 2, and just a small sprinkle of flax seed.

This was just as good as I remembered. These Kashi waffles have a really good taste. These were the Go Lean waffles, and the other day I had the Kashi Heart to Heart Honey Wheat. I did like the flavor of the Honey Wheat better, but these were still great! I love all the fresh fruit on top. These strawberries are from the grocery store and are actually really ripe and juicy.

And again-perfect cup of coffee. I’m on a roll this week.

I love waking up on a cool Fall morning such as today and having my coffee while blogging and watching The Today Show.

It really puts me in a good mood to start the day. I wish I could just wake up earlier so I could work out AND have my coffee and watch my morning shows. But I LOOVE my sleep! If you didn’t get a chance to see my dinner last night, check it out here. It is the epitome of why I started this blog. Healthy, and gourmet, but SO SO easy!
