So after the light breakfast and some blogging we went for a nice walk around the hotel.

Once we got back we showered, dressed, and were out the door.
The ceremony went well, and then we headed to a beautiful country club for the reception. The country club was probably the most gorgeous venue for a wedding I have ever seen. It was unbelievable.
We started out with some wine and beer and a few hors d’ouvres. I had a glass of champagne to start and then switched to white wine.

We also enjoyed some yummy chicken skewers

cheese

smoked salmon

and spanakopita (not pictured)

The reception began inside the hall and was just beautiful. We enjoyed the night with good food, good drinks, and good dancing. Here are some pics from the night.

We started out with a small spinach salad

Then we had dinner. I chose a small piece of meat, salmon, asparagus, a little mashed potato, pasta salad, and a tomato and mozzarella. I always like to get a little of everything.

After dinner it was time to party!

My brother and his girlfriend Ashley-aren't they a good looking couple?

And then we lit sparklers to see the bride and groom off!
The day after the wedding my entire family (including cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents) went into Durham to walk around, have lunch, and look at the beautiful Sarah P. Duke Gardens. Here are a few pics of the colorful flowers.

It was so nice to be around my family again. The wedding was so much fun! I can’t wait to get together with everyone again soon!
