Again-Another winery where I loved all their wines. It was hard to pick just 2 because the wines just kept getting better and better as we tasted them.

La Faya 2005:

This wine is made up of Nebbiolo, Merlot, and Syrah. It is medium bodied, plush, juicy, and soft. A perfect everyday drinking red. Don’t be fooled by the Nebbiolo and Syrah, everything is very well balanced and the wine is still soft and not over the top.

Sforzato Ronco del Picchio 2005:

This was the last wine in our tasting at Vini Fay, and they sure did save the best one for last. It was one I will never forget, it melted in my mouth it was so good. Pretty dark fruit, juicy, fresh, high acidity, soft tannins, full bodied, but still very elegant. As the wine had time to aerate it just got better and better. Everything was very well integrated. If you get the chance to taste this wine I highly recommend it. OUTSTANDING!
