I loved both these wines from Rocche Costamagna and they were paired perfectly with our salads that we had for lunch at the estate.
Rocche Costamagna Langhe Arneis 2008:

Again-another one of my favorite white wines. Smells a little earthy on the nose, which I was not expecting, but did not taste earthy on the palate. It was juicy, lots of stone fruit, a little peach, pear, and very complex. The fruit was not over the top, but very balanced and it had a nice long finish. Perfect with summer salads.
Rocche Costamagna Ose 2008:

This Rose is new, and we don’t even have it in our store yet, but I made sure to buy some because it was so good. I have never had an Italian rose before this. It smelled of ripe strawberries, and tasted refreshing. It was dry, crisp, medium fruit for a rose, but just really beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine.
